Randall E. Glick, BSB/PM MCP
Randy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business degree with concentration in Project Management. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional. Randy has been with the association since 2002, working primarily in the areas of information systems, and educational activity production. In his spare time he plays ice hockey. Randy is married and enjoys the activities of his four children.
As Managing Director for Southern Medical Association, Kim is responsible for assisting the Executive Director with the financial health and focus of the Association. This includes managing the Association during the absence of the Executive Director, preparing and assisting with the annual budget, preparing and presenting financial statements to the Association’s leadership. Kim has been with SMA for 26 years focusing on Financial Services and Defined Contribution plans.
Kim graduated from Jacksonville State University with a BS in Accounting. Kim and her husband Scott enjoy golf, boating, fishing. Kim has one son, and two step children.
Jennifer S. Price, MA
Managing Editor, Southern Medical Journal/Education Manager
Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Alabama. Prior to joining SMA in 2010, she worked for the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Jennifer is married and has one son, and she enjoys spending time with her family, watching Alabama football, and volunteering for the Alabama Chapter of Make-A-Wish.
Executive Assistant/Leadership Communications
Wendy has been happily assisting members of SMA since 1989. In those many years here, she has worked with the SMJ, CME programs, meeting planning, exhibit sales/service, the Research & Education Foundation fundraising, member communications and SMA & SMAA Leadership communications. In addition to her responsibilities with SMA, Wendy is also a licensed Insurance agent with our subsidiary, SMA Services, Inc.
When she’s not busy working, Wendy likes to spend time relaxing on the beach, playing bunco with friends, attending crafting conferences and cheering for Auburn Football – WAR EAGLE! Wendy has a wonderful husband, one terrific son, and two amazing dogs.
Kendra has been with the Association since 1979. Her experience spans accounting, association management, member communications, marketing, meeting planning, project management and CME program development. In this role, Kendra manages the day-to-day marketing activities and long term marketing strategy of the association. In her spare time, Kendra loves gardening, reading, and enjoying time with her granddaughter and family.
Earl is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He joins SMA with 15 years experience in the financial industry as a corporate controller and more than 10 years as an independent business consultant/bookkeeper for local startup businesses as well as established ones. Outside of the office, Earl enjoys spending time with his family, camping, hiking, bicycling, volunteer work, and taking weekend get-a-ways.
CME Compliance Manager
Mandy is responsible for developing and implementing Southern Medical Association’s (SMA’s) policies and procedures to ensure continued compliance and accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). She also serves as staff liaison to Joint Providers, the ACCME, and/or other accrediting organizations pertaining to SMA’s Continuing Medical Education program. Mandy supports SMA’s Project Management Team in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes of accredited educational activities, and SMA’s overall education program. She has extensive training in multimedia and online education and assists with the development of SMA’s online accredited activities.
Member Services Representative/CME Program Coordinator
Vicki has been an employee with Southern Medical Association since 1979, working in customer service for member services and purchasing. She works with our communications department and assists with CME Compliance. She loves to go to garage sales and thrift stores. She also keeps busy with her 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
CME Activity Manager
Vicki has extensive experience in planning, coordinating, developing, design and management of SMA’s Southern Region Burn Conference. She has worked with burn professionals and burn centers in 14 States + Puerto Rico, including 33 Burn centers in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia.
Member Services Representative
Vonette has worked for the Southern Medical Association in the membership and member communication area since 1984. She enjoys one-on-one communication with members and makes every effort to respond to members’ needs and questions. Her responsibilities also include statistical and demographic reporting, data analysis and maintenance. In her spare time, Vonette enjoys horseback riding, camping and volunteering with children’s ministries.
Digital Media Specialist/Webmaster
Dylan holds a Bachelors degree in Communication and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama. He works with ESPN and Fox Sports on the side when he has a chance. Dylan has a big passion for photography and filming and also is a videographer for concerts in Tuscaloosa, filming acts like John Legend and Chris Stapleton. In his spare time he loves to run and play tennis.
Lee Boughton, MA
CME Activity Manager
Lee holds a Master of Arts in English from Belmont University. Prior to joining SMA in 2017, she worked for the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Lee is married and has two active toddler boys. In her limited free time, Lee enjoys reading and photography – utilizing those hobbies to maintain an Instagram account dedicated to all things literary.
