Goals and Objectives

Evaluating patients with sleep apnea requires an understanding of many disorders, which may present with similar symptoms.  A correct diagnosis is paramount to managing these patients.  The goal of this activity is to update providers about current epidemiology, diagnosis, and management of OSA.  Upon Completion, learners should be better prepared to:

  • Recognize and diagnose OSA along with manage the complications of OSA. Alternative treatments to CPAP are also discussed.

Upon completion of the evaluation and attestation, your certificate will be processed and emailed within 2 weeks.  Credits will be archived for 6 years; at any point within this time period you can contact Southern Medical Association for a duplicate copy of your credit.
