Goals and Objectives
Healthcare providers are developing new organization models. Some of these models are physician only models and some models are physician and facility models. Each model offers advantages and disadvantages to the physicians. This activity will outline the differences in these models so that the learner can determine which models work best for them based upon their specialty, their community and their potential partners. Upon completion of the activity, learners should be better prepared to:
- Identify the different physician models.
- Discuss the pros and cons of each model.
- Recognize which are best for their specific situation.
