Birmingham is our destination!

To be in Birmingham is to be in the arms of the South. Where the energy is palpable and a spirited nature is tempered by cosmopolitan charm. It’s to be in a place that’s as modern and contemporary as it is classically southern.

Today, Birmingham wears a much different face. It’s a place that’s brimming with entertainment, the arts, nightlife, outdoor recreation and world-class cuisine.

It is a potpourri of experiences that is the city’s greatest strength and strongest appeal - a medley of cultures and attitudes that blend beautifully with the Southern charm that is Birmingham.

Hotel

The Hyatt Regency Birmingham is a chic, upscale hotel located just minutes from shopping, dining, and entertainment. This former Wynfrey Hotel blends traditional Southern hospitality with all the modern conveniences of home. Enjoy their state-of-the-art StayFitTM Gym, sauna, and seasonal rooftop outdoor pool, so you can soak in the Southern sun with a beautiful view all day.

Bring the Family!

Bring the kids. From the McWane Science Center to the Birmingham Zoo to Zip Lining and hiking at the Red Mountain Park, there is plenty of entertainment for everyone. The Urban Air Adventure Park only a short Uber ride away offers trampolines, go carts, rock climbing and more. Fun for the whole family. For the adults who like golf, the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Ross Bridge is only 10 minutes from the hotel. Two lakes and an impressive waterfall combine with serious yardage to make this a most memorable course.

Dining

Steak or seafood, Italian or French, it doesn't matter, Birmingham has many great dining opportunities. Located within walking distance or a short five-minute drive of the hotel are several choices including Firebirds Wood Fired Grill offering steaks, seafood, specialty drinks and wine, Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, the Cajun Steamer Bar and Grill and the usual fair offered by Olive Garden, Bonefish Grill, and Jim-N-Nicks. A twenty-minute drive or Uber ride takes you to the James Beard award winning Highlands Bar and Grill where Chef James Stitt's daily-changing menu, rooted in classic French technique will provide you a dining experience to be remembered. It is best to make a reservations early (weeks in advance). A shorter drive will take you into Homewood to Gianmarco's. Owned and operated by a father and sons, Gianmarco's offers authentic Italian dining for which your senses will thank you for afterwards.
