All donations help to support our mission and the future of medicine.
- Donate to the Research and Education Endowment Fund. As a restricted fund, all donations go toward the scholarships and other awards that help further the future of medicine and those who will become providers.. All donations are 100% tax deductible. All donors are added to our donor wall on SMA.org and remain there in perpetuity.

- Join the Society of 1906 and fund an individual Legacy Scholarship. A tax deductible contribution of $5000 to the SMA Research and Education Endowment Fund provides support for a $2500 scholarship to a deserving 4th year Medical Student chosen by their peers within SMA’s Physician-in-Training Committee. This scholarship is awarded in your name at the SMA Annual Scientific Assembly.

- Become a Member. Membership dues provide non-restricted support for our operations, and are a tremendous source of support for every aspect of our mission. As a member, you not only support the activities of the association; you get to enjoy the many benefits we provide. (Because of the benefits received in return, membership dues are not tax deductible.)
- Donate to the Association. SMA is a 501(c)3 organization. Your donation to our general fund will go directly to the operational expenses involved in supporting and fulfilling our mission.
No matter how you choose to give, we believe your generosity deserves the proper recognition. We stand on the shoulders of many great leaders who have come before us; our history is our legacy. Your donation ensures your place in that legacy.
