Smoking, Vaping, and COVID-19 Risks

Dr. Bonnie Halpern-Felsher, an author of a recent study entitled, “Association Between Youth Smoking, Electronic Cigarette Use, and Coronavirus Disease 2019”, discusses the health risks associated with smoking and vaping, including why might vaping put you at risk for COVID-19. She also offers insight into the importance of discussing the health risks of tobacco, including e-cigarettes.

Dr. Bonnie Halpern-Felsher
Dr. Bonnie Halpern-Felsher is a professor of pediatrics at Stanford University. She is a developmental psychologist with 25 years of expertise studying adolescent tobacco use. She is also the founder and executive director of the Tobacco Prevention Toolkit.
