SMA is now accepting abstracts for the 3rd Annual Virtual Abstract Competition being held August 6-7, 2025. The abstract submission deadline is June 13, 2025.

This preliminary competition is open to medical students, residents, and fellows who will compete for a chance to present their projects during SMA’s Annual Scientific Assembly taking place at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside November 13-15, 2025.

The top 10 oral presentations and the top 10 poster presentations from this virtual/online only event will advance and present in person at the Assembly in New Orleans for the opportunity to win monetary awards.

The abstract submission deadline is Friday, June 13, 2025.

Please note that upon abstract acceptance, a $50 registration fee is required for medical students and a $75 registration fee is required for residents and fellows.
