Abstract
The problems of aging and the aged are not new, for these persons have always been with us. However, social, economic and political factors have made this segment of our population very prominent in the public eye. Again, though the problems facing the aged are not new, public opinion will force a solution for many of their problems. The medical profession is deeply involved in these problems and cannot avoid them. Physicians must be aggressive in their solution.This content is limited to qualifying members.
