Anomalies of the First Branchial Cleft

Abstract

Anomalies of the first branchial cleft are relatively rare malformations as compared to those of the second branchial cleft. Two children with first-cleft anomalies are presented. The embryology, pathology, clinical manifestations and treatment of these anomalies are described.
