Electroencephalographic and Clinical Correlations in Epilepsy Beginning in Adulthood

Authors: W T SMITH, M.D., W P WILSON, M.D.

Abstract

Epilepsy becoming manifest in adult life has often been considered as probably due to either a tumor or post-trauma to the head. The authors agree with current thinking that this is not the case. They urge that though the EEG may be a most helpful tool, it must be used in conjunction with a detailed history.
