Heat Stroke in College Football and Suggestions for Prevention
Abstract
Heat stroke is one of the hazards of football which may be fatal, particularly in the early fall in a hot and humid atmosphere. The accompanying case report illustrates the problem. The author stresses the restrictions which should be enforced in football practice if the heat index, as determined by established technics, is above certain limits.This content is limited to qualifying members.
