Long Y-Chromosome Associated With Enlarged Satellites on a D-Chromosome
Abstract
Chromosome analysis of peripheral blood leukocytes from a mentally retarded boy revealed the presence of elongated Y-chromosome and a D-chromosome bearing large satellites. The possible roles of aberrations of the Y-chromosome and the presence of satellites in mental retardation and other developmental disorders are discussed.This content is limited to qualifying members.
