Abstract

ABSTRACTMinoxidil is a new, effective, investigational antihypertensive drug. A serious, cosmetic side effect in women is hypertrichosis. Five female patients with this complication had successful removal of the excessive hair with a calcium thioglycolate depilatory agent.
