Regional Lung Function in Obstructive and Bullous Emphysema
Abstract
The studies showed that the abnormalities of ventilation and blood flow were common to both obstructive emphysema and bullous emphysema. Of significance is the demonstration that serious physiologic derangements are present in nonbullous areas. This is an important consideration if surgical resection of bullae is planned.This content is limited to qualifying members.
