Abstract
AbstractA 15-year-old boy developed sensory median neuropathy secondary to infusion-induced thrombophlebitis in the median basilic vein. The median nerve most likely was compressed by thrombophlebitis in this vein. Though this complication is rare, its recognition is important to prevent permanent damage of the nerve.This content is limited to qualifying members.
