A Four Year Study of "Unclassified Mycobacteria" in a Middle Eastern State

Abstract

This group of organisms has opened an intriguing area of bacteriology. They seem to be the etiologic factor in tuberculosis-like granulomas, though whether they are transmissible from person to person is far from settled. Unfortunately not more bacteriologic laboratories are investigating and classifying these bacteria for much is to be learned.
