Abstract

A medical journal cannot function effectively without critical evaluation of the manuscripts it receives. No editorial board can be expected to include persons competent in all aspects of the many different specialties of medicine. The diverse nature of the manuscripts which the Journal receives, as well as the large number, means that the Editorial Board must rely on outside assistance if these manuscripts are to receive the critical review which they deserve. The Journal and the Editorial Board wish to express appreciation to those persons listed below who served as reviewers during the 1972–1973 editorial year.
