Abstract
The author reviews teaching methods which have been developed for programmed learning and their application here and there in medical undergraduate education. The paper is of interest in pointing to trends which carry portents for the future— namely, increasingly the role of the computer in education and in providing comprehensive health care for most of our population.This content is limited to qualifying members.
