Cloning: US and Global Perspectives

Authors: Nigel M. de S. Cameron, PHD

Abstract

It has been said that the cloning of Dolly the sheep in 1996 bifurcates the history of the world. It announces to humankind that we are in line to become not only the creators of our own selves, but, in sad tandem, also its creatures, the products of our own inventive selves, Homo sapiens in the hands of Homo faber.* Thus do we cross the Rubicon.
