Digitalis Toxicity in Chronic Cor Pulmonale

Abstract

The authors have shown that patients having cor pulmonale with severe pulmonary insufficiency may react unfavorably to digitalis. Its use should be only in conjunction with treatment of the physiologic abnormalities of the lungs.
