Authors: OSCAR O. SELKE JR. M.D.

Abstract

There is no gain-saying that primitive peoples have better posture than do many of our citizens. The factors of habit, occupation and recreation may each play a part in poor posture. This may be an important factor in disease and, thus, training in proper posture is essential in certain diseases and is especially significant in prophylaxis.
