Authors: PEYTON DELANEY MD

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe neurologic complications of cancer include a group of emergency situations that are often difficult to diagnose, but are treatable and may be readily reversible if recognized early. These include spinal cord compression, encephalopathy, seizures, increased intracranial pressure, and stroke. Early recognition of symptoms and signs and current aspects of treatment are emphasized.
