Public Relations and Medical Ethics

Authors: LAMAR ARRINGTON, M.D.

Abstract

The events of recent years have made the medical profession aware of the need of assuming leadership in not only the medical affairs of a changing socioeconomic order, but also the need of taking a rightful part in community activities where the doctor's education and experience can offer a guiding influence. These combined with ethical attitudes and practices should assure the physician a place other than a hireling of bureaucratic medicine.
