Abstract

ABSTRACT: Retrorectal masses comprise a varied group of rarely encountered tumors. We present the case of a 42-year-old white woman with a retrorectal carcinoid tumor treated by abdominosacral resection. Diagnostic and therapeutic strategies are discussed.
