About SMA's Group Membership
Purpose
The Group Membership is designed for medical practices with multiple physicians seeking shared access to the SMA platform at a discounted rate.
Membership Structure
- A Primary Account Holder must create and maintain the main SMA account for the practice.
- The Primary Account Holder is responsible for the account management, billing, and adding or removing users.
- Additional doctors within the same practice may be listed under the Primary Account and will be granted full SMA access as authorized users.
Eligibility
- All doctors listed under the Group Membership must be part of the same medical practice.
- Each doctor receives individual access credentials while operating under the group account.
Pricing Structure
Pricing is determined by the total number of doctors within the practice.
- Individual Membership Rate: $320 per doctor
- Group Membership Rate: $50 off per doctor.
Renewal, Changes, and Billing
- Group memberships are billed annually.
- At each annual renewal, the Primary Account Holder may add or remove doctors by contacting SMA Membership Services prior to the billing date.
- Pricing at renewal will be adjusted based on the updated number of doctors listed at that time.
- The Primary Account Holder must enroll the Group Membership rate in automatic renewal, ensuring uninterrupted access and continued group pricing unless changes are requested before the renewal date.
Billing Responsibility
- All Group Membership fees are billed to the Primary Account Holder.
- Membership charges reflect the number of doctors enrolled at the time of renewal.
