Join the next Hypertension & Cardiovascular Disease Interdisciplinary ECHO session!

On Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 12:00–1:00 p.m. EST, Lisa Foglia, MD will highlight the implementation of a cardiac risk assessment quality improvement initiative at the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC), an FQHC in Western North Carolina.

Participants will explore workflows, screening tools, referral pathways, and team-based approaches that support early identification of pregnant and postpartum patients at risk for cardiac conditions. The session will focus on feasible, scalable interventions that can be integrated into routine obstetric care to strengthen care coordination, improve timely escalation and referral, and advance maternal health outcomes in resource-limited settings.
