Activity Description
A live, multidisciplinary, systematic approach to burn care assessment, management, and rehabilitation is essential for improving patient outcomes and enhancing quality of life. After participating in this peer-reviewed conference, attendees should be better prepared to implement current treatments, apply evidence-based practices, and execute burn prevention strategies and implement community outreach programs.

MD, DO, Pharmacist, Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Therapist, Respiratory Therapist, Dietician, Licensed Practical Nurse, Therapist, Surgeon, Psychiatrist, Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician.
Goals and Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, learners should have increased knowledge and be more competent to:
- Discuss the results of cutting-edge scientific clinical management or basic science research and other burn issues;
- Implement new strategies to improve care of the burn injured patient;
- Comprehend positive effects of prevention programs, rehabilitative camps and community re-integration.
