Join us throughout Skin Cancer Awareness Month for an engaging, case-based learning experience via social media!
Each week, we’ll post 2–3 clinical scenarios designed to sharpen your skills in identifying and managing skin cancer in primary care and specialty settings.

How It Works:

  2. Engage with Weekly Clinical Cases
    Comment on posts or answer short quizzes.
  3. Complete the Weekly Recap Quiz
    At the end of each week, click below to take a brief 3 question quiz reviewing that week’s cases.
  4. Earn CME Credit
    Participants who complete the quiz and short evaluation will receive 0.25 CME credits per week, up to 1.0 total credits for completing all 4 weeks.

Learning Objectives: 
By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize common and atypical presentations of skin cancer in clinical settings.
  • Identify when to biopsy, treat, or refer lesions based on risk features.
  • Understand disparities in skin cancer detection among diverse populations.

Target Audience: Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis and management of skin-related concerns.

Southern Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  This activity has been designated for a maximum of .25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
