Activity Description
This is a 3-day educational event offered annually. The agenda this year included lecture discussions on substance use disorders, physician self-care, how to assist patients with literacy needs, environmental impact on health, AI, professional boundaries, intimate partner violence, partnering to improve cardiovascular health, palliative medicine and a look into the latest research.

This educational activity is intended for MD, DO, Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Practical Nurse, Therapist, Surgeon, Anesthesiologist, Registered Nurse, Other
Goals and Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, learners should have increased knowledge and be more competent to:
- Understand caring for patients with substance use disorders, partner violence and environmental health risks.
- Recognize a physician's role in reducing health disparities and review effective strategies to promote equitable healthcare.
- Describe partnerships in hypertension, AI, and music therapy.

To successfully earn credit, participants must complete the activity online during the valid credit period noted, following these steps:

- Attest to those presentations you attended.
Upon successful completion of these components, your certificate will be processed and emailed from customerservice@sma.org. Credits will be archived for 6 years; at any point within this time period you may login to your account to print a duplicate copy of your certificate.
