Abstract
To the Editor:
Hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT) has been used in patients with some diseases of the gastrointestinal system, such as radiation enterocolitis, CD, and experimental colitis; however, the experience with HBOT in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) is limited. 1,2 We present a case of clinical remission after HBOT in a patient with UC who did not respond to treatment with 5-amino salicylic acid, methylprednisolone, and azathioprine.
