Cirrhosis of Liver In Infants and Children
Abstract
This report concerns 22 cases of cirrhosis of the liver occurring in infants and children seen at one hospital in the mid South. The majority of the cases were on a postinfectious basis but several were due to congenital biliary atresia, the inspissated bile syndrome following erythroblastosis, and in two instances no cause could be identified.
