Abstract
The National Residency Matching Program, or ‘‘the Match,’’ has become increasingly competitive as the number of US medical students has grown without comparable expansion of postgraduate positions.1 In fact, 3% of US seniors who applied exclusively to pediatrics programs went unmatched in 2015.2This content is limited to qualifying members.
