Global Health Lessons from a District Hospital
Abstract
An increasing number of residents, fellows, and medical students are engaging in global health activities during their training in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Their clinical activities often are in district hospitals and they are more likely to encounter adult patients with noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) than infectious diseases on the wards.This content is limited to qualifying members.
