Abstract
An area being explored with increasing frequency is the epidemiology of cancer. Improved methods of accumulating and evaluating statistics provide information heretofore unavailable. The hope is to uncover facts which will be helpful in diagnosis and prognosis. Everyone recognizes that satisfactory epidemiologic studies in cancer have been sparse.
