Management of Fractures of the Distal Forearm in Children

Abstract

The authors emphasize that open reduction with its hazards is rarely necessary in fractures distal in the child's forearm. Remarkably good results are obtained by closed reduction even though seemingly not ideal. Remodeling of growing bone permits of these good end results.
