Primary Aldosteronism and Secondary Hyperparathyroidism of the Vitamin D Deficiency
Abstract
The relationship between vitamin D, parathyroid hormone (PTH) and hypertension has been discussed in the literature. However, to our knowledge, primary aldosteronism associated with vitamin D deficiency has not been reported. We present a patient with simultaneous hyperparathyroidism from vitamin D deficiency and aldosteronism.This content is limited to qualifying members.
