Problems in the Diagnosis of Recurrent Pancreatitis
Abstract
The author believes that patients given a diagnosis of recurrent pancreatitis deserve exploratory laparotomy. The diagnosis of pancreatitis may be in error because of other disease simulating it. Furthermore, if the diagnosis is correct a surgical procedure may be indicated to ameliorate the symptoms.This content is limited to qualifying members.
