Authors: THEODORE SARAFOGLU M.D., DAVID H. REYNOLDS M.D.

Abstract

Though all aspects of this disease have not been clarified to everyone's satisfaction, the authors have arrived at definitive thoughts upon prognosis, treatment and indications for a surgical attack. The patient's general health, the site of the hematoma, the depth of coma or level of consciousness add up to important factors in selecting patients for operation and its anticipated results.
