Assembly Faculty Spotlight: Mohammad Jahanzeb, MD, FACP
The Southern Medical Association (SMA) is proud to feature Mohammad Jahanzeb, MD, FACP, as a speaker for the Association's 117th Annual Scientific Assembly taking place November 13-15, 2025 in New Orleans.
Dr. Mohammad Jahanzeb is a board-certified medical oncologist specializing in breast and lung cancers. He has delivered more than 900 invited lectures globally and authored or contributed to over 200 scientific publications. He earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical College in Pakistan, completed residency at the University of Connecticut, and served as senior fellow during his oncology fellowship at Washington University’s Barnes Jewish Hospital. Dr. Jahanzeb has held numerous leadership and academic roles, including Chief Scientific and Strategic Advisor for GenesisCare and Founder of Florida Precision Oncology Research and Consulting. He is a Clinical Affiliate Professor at Florida Atlantic University and a fellow of both ASCO and the American College of Physicians. He has served on the NCCN’s expert panels for breast and lung cancer and enjoys writing, reading, and biking.
