The Southern Medical Association (SMA) is proud to feature Salvatore Mangione, MD, as a speaker for the Association's 117th Annual Scientific Assembly taking place November 13-15, 2025 in New Orleans.

Dr. Salvatore Mangione serves as Director of the Physical Diagnosis Course, Director of the History of Medicine Course, Coordinator of Foundations of Clinical Medicine, and Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency. He earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. His clinical and research interests include asthma, physical diagnosis, and the history of medicine.
