President-Elect Dr. Philip Hartman interviewed his great uncle, Dr. Richard Zettler, about the Southern Medical Association and medicine after an SMA event on identifying and treating opioid abuse in July of 2017.
According to a recent article form USA Today, "more than 200,000 people died from overdoses related to prescription opioids from 1999 to 2017.
