Abstract
The 2014 Ebola virus epidemic, affecting multiple countries in west Africa, was the largest in history and the worst global public health emergency of our generation, with more than 10,000 cases and 5000 deaths at the time of this writing.1 Imported and locally acquired cases in the United States have resulted in the development of new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention quarantine and isolation guidelines, as well as protocols for the clinical management of patients with Ebola virus infections.This content is limited to qualifying members.
