Physicians-in-Training Leadership Conference

Dedicated to the future of medicine by developing tomorrow’s leaders of medicine, SMA’s Physicians-in-Training Leadership Conference provides opportunities for Medical Students and Residents to: present their research through abstract competitions for cash awards, participate in hands-on workshops and interactive activities designed for interprofessional learning, fulfill Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education requirements related to participation in scholarly activities, and network with colleagues from other medical schools and residency programs.

Join us for SMA’s 5th Annual Physicians-in-Training Leadership Conference, hosted this year by the Heersink College of Medicine.

Our Physicians-In-Training Committee is planning an exciting educational program. In addition, YOU are invited to participate by submitting abstracts with an opportunity to win award money for best oral and poster presentations!

Plan now to join us in Birmingham for great education, collegiality, and fun!

*SMA staff will be taking pictures for marketing & promotional purposes throughout the event.  Additionally, we will be recording audio of all presentations. If you do not wish to have any photos or audio of yourself published, please send an email requesting exclusion to marketing@sma.org.
