A Clinical Analysis of Bacteria Found in 2,000 Bladder Cultures*

Abstract

BECAUSE INFECTION IS THE MOST COMMON DISEASE of the bladder, an analysis of this condition merits our attention. In the interest of clarity and because some new concepts are involved, this article on bladder infection is divided into three nature. The second part presents clinical material and results from which fundamental concepts are developed and a foundation for the basis of classification of bladder cultures is postulated. This is necessary for clarity in presentation of the third part, which is a consideration of the material mentioned in the title.
