Abnormal Uterine Bleeding Subsequent to Pelvic Surgery
Abstract
Functional uterine bleeding has been recognized as a possible tate complication of operations upon tubes or uterus. The pathogenesis of this complication is not clear. The authors, in their analysis of cases of functional uterine bleeding, have found the history of tubal ligation to be ten times more frequent in this group than in the population at large. They raise questions relative to hysterectomy rather than tubal ligation as a mode of sterilization because of this.This content is limited to qualifying members.
