Acute Leukemia Following I131 Therapy

Abstract

It is important to recognize with the author that it is too early to draw conclusions that treatment with radioactive iodine has an associated hazard of leukemia. In fact accumulating statistics seem to indicate that the incidence is about the same for the untreated as for the treated.
