Abstract
Effects of pollutants of the air upon pulmonary disease and function have been recognized for many years. Current interest in pollution of man's environment gives new meaning to these old facts. The authors describe those pollutants of especial interest in pulmonary disease, their effects and particularly their role in enhancing manifestations of respiratory allergy and emphysema.This content is limited to qualifying members.
