Apomorphine in the Management of Accidental Ingestion of Poisons

Abstract

Accidental poisoning constitutes a major cause of death in young children. This study indicates that an “old” drug, apomorphine, may be quite useful and safe as a means of inducing vomiting in the prophylactic management.
