AbstractUnder certain circumstances a more adequate study of the bone marrow is desirable than can be supplied by marrow puncture. Relatively little has been written with respect to surgical biopsy of the iliac bone, its indications, the necessary preoperative preparation and the technic. The authors consider these details.
