Celebrate the 115th Anniversary of the Southern Medical Journal during 2023

Abstract

To help celebrate the 115th anniversary of this publication, I spent some time researching the history of the Southern Medical Journal (SMJ). I found that no comprehensive and definitive history exists, but I did find some reliable information regarding
the history of the SMJ from the early 20th century to the present.
